Last September, CrowdTangle and Chartbeat introduced Offsite Social as a beta feature to a limited number of joint customers. The tool enabled publishers to close the social gap between the data for articles posted on their site and the social activity surrounding those articles on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit in real time.
Today we’re excited to announce the global expansion of Offsite Social – the tool is now accessible to thousands of newsrooms around the world and will offer richer social metrics and broader monitoring capabilities. Thanks to the Facebook acquisition of CrowdTangle and the platform now being free, all Chartbeat customers globally can sign up for Offsite Social without the need for a CrowdTangle subscription.
As part of our extended partnership, CrowdTangle and Chartbeat are expanding global Facebook monitoring including increased coverage in EU and India and Twitter monitoring is now available to all verified accounts versus the one-third previously monitored.
